3rd ANNUAL ALL BREEDS ONLINE FOAL SHOW 2009

 Rules

       Entrants must be residents of Australia or New Zealand

       Top 5 and Ultimate Foal of the 2007 & 2008 Online Foal Show Not Eligible to Enter

       1ST PLACEGETTERS FROM PREVIOUS  ONLINE FOALSHOW MAY ENTER IF THE PICTURE OF THE FOAL IS DIFFERENT TO THE ONE USED PREVIOUSLY

       Photos used in the PREVIOUS Caption Contest may be used again but MUST have a new caption.

       Entries are displayed on the website   www.allbreedsonlinefoalshow.com after payment has been received.  Entries close Midnight 31 st July 2009.  Judging will commence as soon after the closing date as is convenient for the judge, ideally no later than 2 weeks after the closing date.  The date and time of judging will be advertised on this web site. Judges decision is final.

       Entries cost $3 per class For Australia entries Only

       Entries Cost  AU $4 for New Zealand entries Only

       Payment may be made by direct deposit, cheque.  Fees apply for Cheque from New Zealand entrants Other methods may be available please contact us to discuss options

       You may enter as many classes as possible that your FOAL, is eligible for, either with the same or different photos. 

       If using different photos please use enter the file name under the class details

       Ribbons will be awarded to 3rd place in each breed/class. First place getters for each breed/class in each section compete for champion of section. Section Champions  will then compete for  TOP 5 FOAL AWARDS with the Top Point score foal also awarded the ULTIMATE FOAL.[ This is done on a point score system judged by all judges.]

       Classes may be split into male and female  FOR EACH BREED when 3 or more of each sex is entered

       Wins/places do not count towards hi-point awards or qualifications

       Because of the difficulty of getting good photos of your foal, you can use photos taken anywhere; they don’t have to be at a show. NO ribbons to be on your FOAL

       AMATUER PHOTOS PERFERRED, but professional allowed

       FOALS do not have to be haltered/bridled. PHOTOS MUST BE A SIDE VIEW OF YOUR FOAL [front on and head shots will not be accepted]. You need to obtain the permission of the copyright holder, usually the photographer.  It is essential you supply their name so a photo credit can be placed with the photo.  Photos marked ‘Proof’ will not be accepted.  No photos to be reproduced from the website without the permission of the copyright owner.

       The FOAL must be, or have been, owned or leased or breed by the person entering at the time the photo was taken. Old photos allowed, so you can roll back time!  Enter your FOAL, even if he is now 20 or sadly no longer with us

       The same photo may be entered in multiple classes.  The same FOAL may not enter the same class twice.  Photos may be cropped or resized by us as necessary so the web pages download easily.

       Photos must not have been digitally altered except for the FOR THE  CAPTION SECTIONS

       ALL FOALS MUST BE REGISTERED OR ELIGIBLE FOR REGISTRATION WITH THE RELEVANT BREED SOCIETY.  A random selection of entries will be asked to provide proof of registration or eligibility and current membership to each breed society  

       THERE IS A CLASS FOR UNREGISTERED FOAL OF MINIATURE HORSE, PONY BREEDING OR HORSE BREEDING. Please stipulate.

       CAPTION CONTESTS. MUST BE ORIGINAL SECTION P : MUST INCLUDE A FOAL. SECTION Q: DOES NOT HAVE TO INCLUDE A FOAL BUT MUST INCLUDE AN EQUINE VARIETY.

       Entries may be submitted by post with entry form and payment. Entries must be received no later that 31^st July 2009 and will be scanned.[ please allow plenty of time if posting  as we are situated in country NSW and the post can be a bit slow]

       If you like your photo returned PLEASE enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope.
